One year later.

On the 24th of March 2015 our blog first came about, we were sat in a class that myself and Megan  did not really enjoy ( to be as nice as possible about it ) when the idea arised. That night as soon as I got home I wrote our introductory post and published it. It is now a year later and we still continue to publish two posts per week. Over the past year we have both loved writing posts and sharing them online.

One of the reasons I've loved to continue to create posts over the pastry year is because I  love interacting with other bloggers and reading their posts. One thing I love the most is discovering new blogs and seeing different bloggers style of writing. I love the blogging community as there is room for everyone, whatever you enjoy you are free to right posts on  and share then with others who enjoy the same things as you. For us personally this year we have went down the Beauty and Lifestyle route ,but who knows ,in the future we could do something a bit different!

Finally I would like to say thank you so much to anyone who has took a tiny bit of time out of their day to read out posts, it really does mean a lot. We hope that you continue to read and enjoy our posts in the future. I  also hope that I will be writing a post like this in another year to come ,and that our blog will continue to develop.
Also if you ever want to leave any suggestions for posts feel free, any comments are greatly appreciated.

3 Quick and easy snack ideas!

I love snacking(unfortunately!) so I'm always looking on Pinterest and YouTube for tasty snack ideas, however I never have any of the ingredients in my house. This made me think of doing a post showing snacks that you will actually be able to make without going out to the shops!
They are all very quick and simple and will not take you long to make(or eat!) .

Snack 1 Fruit dippers
Chop some fruit and place a spoonful of Nutella/Greek yoghurt in a small dish or on the plate- Yes, that's all to it. This may sound so simple but it's definitely my go to.
It can even be healthy if you use low fat yoghurt- I usually go for the Nutella option...

Snack 2 Fruit sorbet
Take your favourite frozen fruits, I chose raspberries, mango and blueberries. Place them in a blender and Blenddd. Blend until smooth and combined before spooning into small dishes and freezing for a short time until frozen -but not solid. This should not take long as the fruit is already frozen. Enjoy! This taste delicious!

Snack 3- Nutella Popcorn
Yes! Nutella and popcorn together!
Heat some oil in a pan before placing around half a cup of popcorn kernels in . Once they've started to pop wait until popping has almost come to a halt and turn of heat- they will continue to pop.
Once finished popping place a spoonful of Nutella in the microwave for 30 seconds and then drizzle it on top.
Now enjoy! You can even keep this in airtight containers for later if you make too much.

I hope you enjoyed this-I certainly did as I got to eat them all afterwards!
Remember to tweet us-@TeaT42 if you make any of these!
Thank you for reading!

Full Face Make-up!

Hello! Most of the time I like just to wear the most basic make up, but every once in a while I do like to expand out a bit. I don't mean by doing anything crazy, for me this means just adding a bit of eyeliner and wearing foundation rather than just concealer-I know wild! Haha. So anyway I thought I would share what look I go for if I'm branching out a bit.

Face

Firstly I will take a mixture if the Rimmel match perfection in Light Porclain and The Rimmel Wake me up in Ivory   . I have to mix these to get the perfect shade. I blend  this using a mix of my Real techniques buffing brush and the complexion sponge.

For concealer I then apply the Rimmel wake me up under my eyes, on the bridge of my nose and then on my forehead to highlight these area. For any redness or blemishes I of course use the Collection  lasting perfection concealer in shade 2.
To finish the base I then powder with the Rimmel stay matte.Using the Real techniques Multi-task brush.

To contour I use the Maybelline Master Sculpt-I just recently did a post on this so check that out. I apply this in the hollows of my cheeks and on my temples.  For a bit of shimmer I used the  higlighter in this pallet on the tops of my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose using the Real Techniques Setting Brush.

Eyes

For the base I used the Maybelline colour tattoo in "On and on bronze". This is a cream formula making it a great base for eyeshadow to blend on to . I then took my MUA "Hall of Fame" pallet. In the outer corner and crease I used "China" then in the inner corner "Lion" . I also took this along my waterline. I finished by blending it all out using the Essential Crease brush.

To finish of eyes I apply the Soap and Glory Supercat liner, If I'm up for the challenge I will attempt to add wings- which will most likely go wrong!

For my eyebrows I usually choose not to use any product and just brush through them with an eyebrow brush.

Lips

To finish of the look I usually go for a very natural lip colour, this is usually the Rimmel Apocalips in "Phenomenon ".

.....And that's the finished look! I love this look, it's definitely my go to if I'm  going out for dinner or to a party.

I hope you enjoyed this and I maybe gave you some ideas ofproducts to try out. All the products I mentioned I of course love and recommend! So let me know what you think of them of them if you try them out?!

Thoughts and situations in class!

Hey everyone
As you can see by the titled this post is going to be  different thoughts and situations I've been in class!

1- I hope my stomache doesn't rumble!
It's always absolutely silent when my stomache decided to start roaring and gurgling and I have no way of controlling I've tried holding my stomache in but it just doesn't work and it's so embarrassing!!!

2-why do they have to kick my chair?
I hate it when your in class and the person behind you feels the need to sit and kick your chair for the whole period

3- having to read aloud
I hate reading aloud in class so if we're  reading a passage from a book and we're taking it in turns to read paragraphs I always count the people in front of me so I can see what paragraph I have to read! Does anyone else do this?

4- when your in a test and everyone's turning the page
It's bad enough when you are finding the test really hard but then when everyone else is turning the page and your still on the first page it stresses me out so much because I feel like I'm gonna run out of time!

5- Choking
Ok so this might seem a bit strange but I hate it when you get a tickle in the back of your throat so you cough once to get rid of it and that one cough triggers a whole lesson of coughing and it's so embarrassing haha!!

I hope you enjoyed this post it's slightly different to what I usually do let me know in the comments any situations one you've been in in class!

Get The Look~ ~ Outfit

Hey everyone!

This week I decided to do a get the look cause I personally loving reading and watching these. However I thought I would just do the outfit today and the make up next week cause otherwise it's gonna be a really long post!

I chose to do it on Ariana Grande as I found this picture and loved her outfit in it as its really simple but still looks like you put effort into the outfit!

I just chose these plain black skinny jeans from primark as I personally love these I feel they are a good fit and are really comfy however mine are a bit worn now so I think I need to pick up a new pair when I'm in next!
She is then wearing a black kind of flowy crop top, so I choose this black one from Top Shop which is also slightly flowy.
Then for accessories I just choose pearl earrings as they are really simple and pretty so I thought they would match the outfit perfectly.

Thanks for reading hope you enjoyed this post! let me know in the comments if you want to see the hair and make up for this look!

Review~Maybelline Master Sculpt!

Hello! recently I purchased the Maybelline Master Sculpt Contour Kit. This came out last year and I saw lots of bloggers and vloggers mention it. I never got round to purchasing it at the time ,but i was recently in Superdrug and just couldn't resist!

It features a cool toned contour shade and then a shinmery highlighter. There is a choice of two shades and I got the darker of the two- I actually swatched the lighter one and I found that It didn't really show up on my hand.

The contour shade isn't the most pigmented but I like it as it's not too scary. I personally find it gives a nice natural contour. I love that it is very cool toned as it doesn't look muddy on your face and you can build it up for a stronger chiseled look. The only downside I've found so far that is it is quite hard to blend,it sometimes takes a little blending before it is isn't just a brown line on your face!

The highlight shade is very pretty. It is a warm shimmery gold colour. This gives the perfect highlight on the tips of your cheek and brow bones.

I absolutely love the packaging of this product as it is very compact and sleek. Underneath the product there is a small compartment that has a very reasonably sized mirror. I love this as it means it's a great product for on the go.

This compartment also contains a small brush which I did not know it came with. The brush actually surprised me when I used it as I was not expecting very much. It is definitely better than the silly eyeshadow brushes you receive in most palletes!

Overall I actually really like this product, I love the look it gives. I do however believe it's not for everyone as it doesn't give the strongest look- which is however build able .I think it is completely worth the price of only £6.99!

If you want to see more product reviews just tweet~ @TeaT42 ~ or comment down below giving me product suggestions.

birthday and shopping haul!

Hey everyone
So I recently received some make up for my birthday and have also recently picked some clothing and beauty products up so I thought I'd a mini haul for you!

I'll start off with my present that was off my friends. The first thing I got was the maybelline colour tattoo in the shade on and on bronze. This is so good to just throw on if you don't have time to do a full eye makeup look and, it lasts all day which is another bonus!

MUA highlighter. This is absolutely amazing you only need to use a tiny bit because it is so pigmented and it adds a really pretty glowy look to your make up.

collection eyes undercover pallet. This is a great pallet and I highly recommend it the colors in it are really natural shades which I personally love they also have a great pigmentation!

The last thing they got me is absolutely amazing and I love it so much (it is seriously so cool!!) They  very kindly got me the hoola bronzer by benefit but... It's personalized!!!
I didn't even know you could get these but it's the most amazing thing ever! It has my name on the front and also on the little brush inside. The product is so good and I find it very easy to use and I really recommend it!

I then picked up a couple of things when I was shopping their not that exciting but you know thought I'd show you anyway!

I smashed my Rimmel stay matte powder (which was very upsetting) which meant I needed a new powder. So I thought I would try out a new product because the Rimmel one is good but I just wanted to try something different for a change, so I picked up the loreal infallible powder. I'm not gonna say much about this cause I might do a review on it (if you guys want to see it so let me know in the comments!)

I then also picked up the Batiste dry shampoo and this was the Ella Henderson one. I love Batiste dry shampoo as I find its the only dry shampoo that works with my hair and they also all smell so good!!

Of course I had to go to primark because no shopping trip is complete without it!
I just picked up a pair of Black running leggings for school and then a burgundy blouse which is just plain as well. I've not got a picture of these because they re in the wash at the minute (sorry) but if you do want to see a picture let me in the comments and I will post one on Instagram (our Instagram- @t42_blog )

I hope you enjoyed this post let me know in the comments if you would like any reviews on the products mentioned! Thanks for reading!

Asos spring want list!

Hello! Today I'm going to do a different post, I'm going to share a few things that I've seen while browsing online that have caught my eye. I would love to purchase these for the spring time so I thought I would make post sharing them with you. I've included clothing, accessories and make up. If you like this style of post please comment below as I loved writing this and would love to do some more!
The items below are all linked directly to the website.

I may have to order at least one of these items, how could I not! As you can probably see for the spring I like lighter and pastel shades. I love spring fashion as I find it really fun and pretty. My favourite item is definitely the playsuit, it is so beautiful! That may be what I have to order!

I hope you enjoyed this different post and I hope to do more similar to this. I have been very busy with school at the moment so I hope to get more organised with writing pots in the coming weeks! Thank you for reading this and feel free to leave a comment below or tweet us ~@TeaT42
