What I've been loving this month!

Hi

So as its nearly the end of August (already!) I thought I'd show you what I've been using this month!

So the first thing I've been using is quite boring but it's just this plain blue notebook which I got from Asda for about a £1. I use this for revision at school and that's about it really!

This next thing kinda ties in with the notebook and it's these fine liner pens from Tesco. You know when you  just find a set of pens that are just really nice and easy to write with (or is that just me?) Well these are definitely them! 

I think I've mentioned this product quite a lot but there is a reason for that! I use my collection lasting perfection concealer every time I wear make up and lately I've had quite a few spots and this has covered them up so well and I don't think I could have survived without it this month (well that might be a bit extreme but you get what I mean!)

Another thing I've been loving is this roll on perfume from primark. I got this a while ago for about £2 and I recently rediscovered it. I keep this in my school bag in case I need to top up throughout the day. I quite often find with some perfumes that the smell wears off quite quickly but I find that this one stays on for ages and its also really cheap but smells so good!

My old phone case broke so I ordered this black one off amazon for 70p which is so cheap and it's a really nice case and great value for money!!

The last thing I've been loving this month is Twitter. I have been on Twitter a lot recently and really been loving it. By the way we have a Twitter it's @TeaT42   If you want to follow us!

5 products I regret buying!

These are some products that I've picked up to try out but I've unfortunately been really disappointed with them.

This is completely my opinion and these products may work well for you and you may love them.

First I've got the MUA Pro Base prime and conceal pallet.

I picked this up because my friend said she really loved hers. I however don't, I find it incredibly drying and I don't find that it blends well. It has 5 different colours of cream concealers that are all supposed to do different things but I just find that they don't work. However this is only around £4 so it's not like I wasted a lot of money.

Next is the Body shop BB cream. 

I was so excited to receive this because I was expecting it to be so good but I actually don't really like it. I've used it a few times but I find that it is really orange (it's supposed to adapt to your skin colour) and that it doesn't blend well. When I use it I find that it leaves my face looking quite streaky because it's so hard to blend which. I was very disappointed as I was really looking forward to using this.

Next I have two hair products 

1.John Frieda Frizz ease

I bought this product expecting it to do exactly what it says -stop frizz. I've found that this does not do anything for my hair I found this really disappointing as I usually really like John Frieda products.My mum does actually have the same product though and it works for her .

2. Aussie miracle dry shampoo. 

I bought this because I love Aussie products and I love dry shampoo but it did not impress. It has a really bad smell and when you spray it in your hair it leaves so much more white powder than any other dry ahmpoo I've tried. It also does not rub into your hair easily .i don't think this is worth purchasing and I definitely would pick batiste over this.

Finally I have the 2true effortless waterproof eyeliner. My friend once again recommended this to me and I don't like it . It is definitely not effortless as it is very hard to use. It is such a watery consistency so it always looks messy and smudges very easily. I do not recommend this.

Review~Chocolate Fudge Muffins

Hey everyone,

So I recently bought this chocolate fudge cake mix by Wrights baking and wanted to do a review on it because they tasted sooooo good!

I just followed the instructions on the pack for the 12 muffins but I decided to add white chocolate into the centre and then sprinkle some on the top as well before they went in to the oven.

(My brother wanted to help putting the mixture into the cases as you can see!)

These are literally the best cakes I have ever made (even though it was a cake mix) They are really light, fluffy and taste really chocolatey and I would defiantly recommend adding in some chocolate chips or fudge pieces into them as it makes them look and taste a lot nicer than just a plain muffin.

You can eat these by themselves or I decided to have one with cream and raspberries and it went really well!

Overall I would defiantly recommend making these even if your not the best baker !!!

School morning GRWM!

Since I'm now back at school I decided to do a school morning get ready with me.

 When I first wake-up I quickly check my phone before going in the shower.

In the shower I use the Simple triple action face wash and a raspberry and blackberry shower wash. 

When I get out of the shower I then get dressed into my school uniform and do my hair and make-up. 

Hair

For my hair I usually just tie it up in a ponytail or do a messy half up half down style.If it is looking a bit greasy or a bit messy I will spray some batiste dry shampoo in to it and that will make it easier to work with.

Make-up

Before applying my makeup I use my simple facial toner.My makeup for school is just the same as my last makeup routine. This is just a really simple look which I think is great for school as it doesn't take long at all.

Breakfast

For breakfast I usually have Greek yoghurt with fruit and granola and a glass of orange juice or water.

After I've had breakfast I clean my teeth, put my shoes and then grab my bag before heading off to school.The shoes I wear to school are the plain white converse and my bag is a purple rucksack from Superdry.

5 school beauty essentials !!

Hey everyone 

Unfortunately next week we go back to school, so I thought I'd do a post on my 5 school beauty essentials!

1) blotting sheets 

I only recently picked these up but I can tell they are soon gonna be a must have for school, because I tend to get quite a shiny face at school!

2) powder 

This is also great for after PE when you need to top your make up up and  get rid of any shine. I just use the rimmel stay matte powder.

3) hairbrush and bobbles 

These will come in very handy so don't forget them!

4) perfume 

I always keep a mini perfume in my bag for the days when I'm running late for school and forget to put some on or just want to put a little more on at lunch.

5) lip product 

It is good to keep a lip balm or lipstick in your school bag for after lunch Incase it has worn off after you've eaten!

School supplies haul!

Since I go back to school in a week I've been picking up some supplies.i These are mostly the things that will be in my pencil case, I did not pick up a new bag because I just bought a new one half way through the school year.

The one thing that I purchased that will not be in my pencil case is his notebook, this is just normal A3 lined notepad.i picked this is because I thought it would be perfect for revision notes.

My pencil case itself is quite small meaning it doesn't take up much room but it fits all the essentials.

Next I picked up some highlighters- I definitely think these are an essential.I find highlighters so useful especially for revising and making sure you don't forget key information.These are by the brand Stabilo and they came in a pack of four with the colours yellow,green, pink and blue.

Next I have pencils. I much prefer to write in pencil than pens because I like to be able to rub out and correct my work.

 

 I then purchased two more of my favourite pens .I love these pens because I  find them really easy to write with and they don't smudge at all.

Finally I have a rubber and a sharpener.

whats in my school bag???

Hey everyone

Unfortunately we only have about a week till we go back to school 😕 so I thought I'd show you what I have in my school bag

I got my backpack from accessorize. It is pink with green and blue flowers on.
On the front there is one big pocket and a smaller one in front of that as well as the main bit. This bag is a really good size because it fits all my books in and has lots of space. This was £29.

I'll start at the front of my bag, so in the first pocket I have a packet of tissues and I also have my locker key.

Moving onto the bigger pocket at the front I keep my purse for my lunch money and some wet wipes cause you never know when you need a wet wipe!

In the main part of my bag I have all my books my planner and my pencil case. I also have a deodorant because that can really come in handy for those days where you have PE and forget to put one in your gym bag!

Summer Haul!

Over the holidays I've been shopping quite a few days so I decided to share some of my favourite items that I've picked up recently.

Leather jacket-Primark

I know this isn't very summery but when I saw it I had to buy it. I love it because it basically goes with any outfit and it dresses any outfit up. It was also only £23 which I thought was such a good price as it is really good quality.

 

 

 

Black shell top-New look

I picked this up as I thought it would be great to wear as part of a casual day outfit and a more dressier evening outfit.I got this for around £8 i think.

 

  

Lace detailed Camis-New Look

The next two items i picked up are actually the same top just in different colours.I picked up the coral top first but then i loved it so much i went back and picked the roya; blie one up. i got these both for only £6 each which i thought was great.

I then picked up this royal blue cami. i love the strps on it as they make it a bit different from most other camis. This looks so nice with a pair of jeans and my leather jacket.This was around £15.

Gel polish-Models Own

This was actually my first purchase from models own. It a gel formula in the colour "Long Beach Peach" this is a lovely coral/pinky colour. It is such a lovely nail polish and I will definetely be picking up more from this brand.i got this for £3.99.

Baby lips Dr rescue

This is such a lovely lip balm, it doesn't have any colour pay off except from a little bit if shine.It always stops my lips from getting dry.Mine is in the colour "Coral Crave"

This was around £3.
