June favourites!

This month I've discovered a few new products which have become some of my essentials, so I decided to write a post telling you about them. I love reading these posts because I like to know what other people have been loving so I can maybe try them out too.

Batiste dry shampoo
I have always loved this product but I've found that it's been a must have product for me as we've been coming into summer. I wash my hair every two days and I find that if it's looking a bit greasy on the second day I can just spray a little bit of this in it and it looks newly washed and is very soft. I also find this is very useful for adding a but of texture to your hair if it's a bit limp.

Dove summer glow nourishing lotion.
This is a moisturiser that you put on and it gradually gives you a tan. I think this is great because it doesn't make you orange and if you just want a bit of a glow you can apply it once ,or if you want a stronger tan you can apply it everyday. I also find it really easy to apply and you don't have to be as careful as you do with proper fake tan.It can become streaky if you miss a large area but apart from that it's a really good product.I have been using this lately because it hasn't been sunny enough to get a real tan so a fake one had to do!
I do really love this product though.

Max factor 2000 calorie mascara
This is a new purchase and I love it. When I first used it I was a bit disappointed because the formula was really runny but them when i had used it a few times I got used to it and fell in love with it. It make my eyelashes loom so long and it adds lots of volume. It also had great staying power which is always a bonus, especially on summer.

 Rimmel match perfection foundation
This is a rediscovery for me, I used to love this foundation then I just forgot about it but now it's getting warmer I find that it's perfect as it doesn't have too heavy coverage so it doesn't feel heavy on your skin.i love that it also leaves a dewy finish which I love especially in the summer as I feel it looks lovely and fresh.
My last beauty related favourite has been the Zoella Blissful Mistful.
I Recieved this for my birthday when they first came out and I've always loved it. I think this smell is especially perfect for the summer as it is really light and fresh, I love the fragrance of these products and this will definitely be my staple summer scent.

I've also got  a fashion favourite that I've been loving for the warmer weather.

These are my new favourite pair of shorts. I actually got these from the kids section on Matalan because as soon as I saw them i loved them!
They are a light blue colour with some faded areas, they also have some distressing on the back and front pocket areas. My favourite part though is the white laced crotchet design at the bottom. These are so comfortable and the perfect length which I think is always difficult to find in shorts. They were also very reasonably priced at only £12!

Summer essentials!

Hey everyone

This week I'm going to be doing my summer essentials (I was going to take these pictures outside so it would look summery but it rained so I couldn't)

My first essential would have to be dry shampoo. This is really good to use in the summer for when u can't be bothered to wash your hair but need to go out. This is also really good for festivals.

My next essential is face masks. I seem to use face mask a lot more in the summer time because I don't like to wear as much make up at this time of year so I like to have nice skin so my face looks half decent.

Perfume. I love having a new 'summer scent' for the summer.

My next essential is nail polish. I love putting on a bright colour in the summer it just makes me feel summery (even if it's raining outside) and it really finishes off a outfit.

The beach. There isn't a summer where I haven't been to the beach. I love going for walks along the beach and having BBQs there. It is a really calming, relaxing place to go.

Sunglasses. I almost forgot to put them in this post but they are defiantly a summer essential. I always get a new pair of sunglasses every year this year I got these ones from new look I think they were £3-£4 which is really cheap and I really like them!

Let me know your summer essentials in the comments!

Product reviews!

This week I decided to review two of my recent purchases which both happen to be eye products. I've recently really got into eye make-up and creating new eye looks and I've been loving using these products for it.

First I've got the Maybelline 24hr color tattoo in the colour on and on bronze.
This is such a nice colour, it's a really nice shimmery, bronzey(I don't think that's even a word haha!)brown colour. It has such great pigmentation and it applies so easily as it just slides on your lid.It is also super blend-able so you could easily apply it into your crease.Since it is a cream eye-shadow you could use it as a base for the start of an eye look or if you just want a quick wash of colour on your lid or your running late you could just apply it on it's own.It looks great either way!
I love this product and I really recommend it as it's such an easy product to reach for and it looks great too, I will definitely be picking this up in other colours.

Next I have the MUA Hall of fame pallet.
This contains 12 if their most popular eye shadows. Most of the colours are neutrals and could be worn everyday but there are three that I most likely won't be reaching for-these are black with silver glitter in it, a light silvery blue and a slightly darker silvery blue. Even though i probably won't wear the more "out there" colours I love the fact that the pallet has a good range of colours,it has perfect colours for the crease, lid and inner corner.

Lion
"Rose ash"
All of these colours are very pigmented and great quality and this pallet was only £4! I would definitely recommend this as for such a great price you get a great quality product that can create some beautiful looks. These are also very easy to apply .I've used this so much since I purchased it and I love it. The only downside is that it comes with one of them useless eyeshadow brushes! Two of my personal favourites in this pallet are Rose ash-a pinky colour with gold sparkles and lion-a very sparkly gold which is so pretty!.

I do really recommend both these product as they are both such great value for money and are really good quality.
I hope this helps you out if you couldn't  decide whether or not to buy either of these products!

school summer evening routine!

Hey everyone

This week I thought I'd do a school summer evening routine. If you want to know what i do on a school morning you can read my morning routine post!

So the first thing I do when I get home from school is take my shoes off, put my bag down and then usually sit on my bed and check all my social media.

Once I have checked my social media i will get changed into my workout clothes and (attempt) to do a workout. For my workout I have been doing a 30 day ab challenge (you can get this in the apple app store)I'm currently on day 5 and its already hard!

Once I've done my workout i will get changed out of my workout clothes and into some comfy clothes which are usually my soul cal sweats or leggings and a T-shirt.

I then will watch some pretty little liars or YouTube or even both(let me know in the comments if you are loving the new series of PLL). Once I've done that if I have a lot of homework I might consider doing some but, i usually end up leaving it till the weekend.

When it gets a bit later in the night I will just get a bath and take my make up off with wipes and wash my face with the simple face wash. For my bath I've really been loving using the treacle moon iced strawberry dream bubble bath this is smells soooo good!!

let  me know in the comments what you like to do after school/work.

What's in my school bag!

For school I use a purple Superdry rucksack. I really like this bag and I find it's the perfect size for all my things.
Here is a list of all the things in my school bag:

Pencil case
This has a flowery pattern on it and it's from tescos, in side here I keep pencils, pens, rubbers, a sharpener and highlighters etc.

Water bottle
Every day I make sure to take water with me to school because it's very important to stay hydrated especially when you are learning because it helps your brain to function.

Purse
In my purse I keep money so I can purchase my lunch when I'm at school.its is from "River island" and I love it.

My folders and books for that day.
Of course I have to take my books for that day so I can make notes and do work.

Extras:
I also take~
•Hand sanitizer
•Hair bobbles
• Hair brush
•Phone
•Hand wipes
•Chewing gum
•Earphones
•Lip balm

What are your school bag essentials? Comment them down below!

Summer haul

Hey everyone

So I recently went shopping and picked up a few things.

The first thing I picked up was this kimono from Primark it is a light peachy pinky colour and has birds on it. I have got a feeling I'm gonna to wear this a lot this summer because it is nice and light to just throw on with some jeans or shorts and a top. This was only £10.

I also picked up these mint green/blue pumps from Primark  these were only £4 and they go with anything and are sooo comfy.

I then got these sunglasses from new look I can't remember how much these were but they were quite cheap.

I also got this flower crown off my mum and I'm not sure where she got it from, but I've never had one before and I think i might wear it when I go away on holiday in the summer holidays.

I also got this mason jar from home bargains for 79p which I thought was so good!!

Let us know in the comments if it's been warm where you are as it's been sooo hot here!

May favorites!!

Hey everyone

I can't believe we are in June already!!!
So it's time for the monthly favorites.

Beauty favorites
My first favorite this month is the Clinique repair serum. This is quite expensive but I got it free in a magazine and it is soooo good. My skin has been so good lately after using this and it is defiantly worth the money!

My second beauty favorite is the rimmel wake me up concealer. I have wanted to get this for ages but just never bought it and I finally did a couple of weeks ago and I'm so glad I did. This makes me look so awake but, I wouldn't use this on any spots or blemishes because it is shimmery so it would make spots stand out and nobody wants that! It is also really cheap.

TV program favorite
This the same as last month- Pretty Little Liars. I really need to find a new program to watch but this is so good. Go watch it now!!!!!

Food favorite
I recently went to Belgium so of course I have to mention Belgium chocolates!!!! I mean who doesn't love chocolate?!?

Fashion favorites
I only have one fashion favorite this month and that's these mint green/blue flats from Primark. They are a suede material and are also so comfy. Another bonus with these were they were only £4! What's not to love!

That's all I've got for this month I haven't really discovered  a lot of new stuff this month so, let me know in the comments any things you've been loving this month so I can maybe try some out!

"Lazy day" morning routine!

After a long week I think it's great to have a lazy day where you just relax and don't have to worry about getting ready early.
I usually have my lazy days on Sundays, I don't have them every week but I feel they are definitely needed every so often.

Usually I will wake up a lot later than usual and I will just go on my phone or IPad before I do anything else. I will check all my social media and then catch up on any YouTube videos I haven't watched.

Once I've done that for a while I will make my breakfast, I will usually have something like granola with yoghurt and fruit, a smoothie or I might even make pancakes. This day I decided to make a smoothie.

I will then have a bath. I usually only have time for showers during the week so I like to make the most of the extra time and have a bath. I will usually put a lush product in the bath, this time I chose the Lush bath ballistic "Dragons Egg" which is definitely one of my favourites. It is white but then it has lots of colours that come out of it.In the bath I will usually watch a programme or youtube and then do all the usual things like wash my face and body etc.

Here's a list of the products I use in the bath:
•St Ives facial scrub
• Soap and Glory righteous butter
•Soap and Glory sugar crush body wash
I may also use a face mask

I will spend quite a while in the bath just relaxing I will finally get out and get ready. On lazy days I don't usually do my my make up but if I might just put a bit of concealer on. I will then put clothes on that suit what I'm doing that day. If I decide to have a whole day of being lazy I will probably just watch some movies.

That is basically all I do on a lazy day morning, I know it's not a lot but that's kind of the point. Haha.
