Uses for old mascara wands!

Lately I've found a few old mascaras lying around and I didn't want to through them out  so I decided to clean the brushes and put them to use.
They were easy enough to clean. All I did was soak them in warm soapy water then dried them and voila a new budget friendly, multi-use tool.

• An eyebrow brush
They are the perfect size and the thicker brushes are especially good for neatening up your eyebrows and combing any straying hairs into place.

•De-clump your eyelashes
Since it no longer has any product on it you can run this over your eyelashes once applying mascara just to take off any excess product and remove big lumps of mascara.

•Exfoliate your lips
Instead of using your fingers to apply exfoliant to your lips this is great as it means your lips will get a much better scrub as well as is being more hygienic (if you've washed your mascara wand properly!).
Just apply your scrub to your lips and rub it in with the brush.

• You could even just use it to replace another wand.
If you have a mascara formula you love but a wand you hate you could just replace it with your old one. Even if it doesn't screw properly into the tube to avoid the mascara drying our keep the wand you don't like in the tube until you need to use it then use the recycled wand.
I've found this very useful as I'm quite fussy  with mascara brushes.

•Comb any stray hairs into place
If you're  out (or even at home) and you don't want to have to redo your hair but a few pieces of hair are sticking up just ruin this brush over and fix them back into place.

Thanks for reading!
