Hey everyone
So a while back I did a post on getting fit for summer and as summer is here now I thought I would update you on how that's going.
So to be honest a few days after I posted that I stopped doing everything I had said i was gonna do which wasn't much of a surprise, but I have started over again a few weeks ago and it's going a lot better than I thought it would.
Exercise
So for exercise I used to do the 7 minute workout app everyday but that got a bit boring after a while and I didn't feel it had much of a effect on me. So I now just look on Pinterest as they have so many different ones so you never get bored of the same workout. I also quite like to do a exercise dvd or follow a YouTube video because you can see how to do everything and the person taking the workout also encourages you to keep going.
Food
Ok I'm not gonna lie I haven't really changed my eating that much because I don't want to give up all unhealthy foods, but I have stopped snacking in between meals which has really helped. I also try to make healthier food choices which I don't always do!
Skin
I have also been trying to make my skin healthier by only wearing make up when i actually need to. I used to wear make up nearly every day even if i didn't need to but now i only wear a little bit if I'm leaving the house. This has made my skin a lot healthier and this might sound weird but it also feels a lot nicer. I will also occasionally use a face mask.
let me know in the comments your tips for staying healthy!

- 200g Chocolate-(I used milk but dark can be used.)
- 100g unsalted butter-(make sure it's soft so it's easy to work with)
- 250g caster sugar
- 4 large eggs (beat them before adding to mixture)
- 1tsp vanilla essence
- 60g plain flour
- 60g cocoa powder
- White chocolate chips-no exact measurements
- Brownie tin or a deep baking tray lined with baking parchment
- Method
- Heat the oven to
- 180°C/350°F/gas 4. Break up the chocolate. Put into a heatproof bowl and melt gently over a pan of boiling water.
- Remove the bowl from the heat and leave to cool until needed.
- Put the butter and sugar into the bowl of a food mixer and beat until fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs, beating well after each addition. Beat in the vanilla essence.
- Spoon the cooled melted chocolate onto the mixture then mix in thoroughly. Sift the flour and cocoa onto the mixture and gently stir in.
- When completely combined spoon the mixture into the prepared tin and spread evenly.
- Bake in the oven until firm to the touch but still a bit fudgy. The recipe stated it took theirs 20 mins but mine took around 30-35 mins. The chocolate will continue to cook slightly for a few mins after coming out of the oven.
- Remove the tin from the oven and set on a wire cooling rack. Leave to cool(or just eat them straight away!) then enjoy!
