10 reasons why I love Autumn/Winter

Hey everyone,

I am actually so excited for Autumn and winter because that is my favorite time of the year. So go and make yourself a cup of tea,  because I have quite a long post on 10 reasons why I love autumn and winter so much!

1. The weather.
I hope it snows this year because we haven't had proper snow here for about 2 years (we have had snow, just not a lot), and I can't wait to have a snowball fight and build a snowman because your never too old to build a good snowman! I also love it when it's cold and rainy outside and you are snuggled up with a cup of tea and loads of blankets inside!

( These photos were taken last winter)

2. Big Woolly Jumpers
There is nothing better than putting on big Woolly jumpers to keep warm. I also really like how they look with a pair of leggings or skinny jeans. Also lets not forget about the Christmas jumper you can get singing ones and light up ones, but I just had a standard one last year.

3. Christmas
I love EVERYTHING about Christmas like the weather (especially the snow) giving and receiving gifts, vlogmas and of course the food (nothing beats a Christmas dinner!) what's your favorite thing about Christmas? Mine is probably buying Christmas presents (although I am terrible at it, but I aim to be better this year hopefully!) I really enjoy seeing peoples reactions as they open your gifts, especially when they like them!

( This was taken last Christmas at a shopping center) ( this was my Christmas tree last year)

4. Hot drinks.
My favorite hot drink is tea or hot chocolate ( I think they're actually the only hot drinks I like!) What's yours ? I love the galaxy hot chocolate with bits of chocolate in and the one with magic stars in, if you don't know what I'm on about look for it in your local supermarket because they are the best hot chocolates ever ( apart from Starbucks hot chocolate obviously!)

( Starbucks hot chocolate)

5. Jumping on leaves
That might sound a little strange but if you've ever jumped on a pile of leaves in Autumn and heard the crunching noise they make you will know what I mean! I used to do this all the time when I was little, and I would walk on very single leave there was so I could hear it crunch! I have to admit that I still do it now!

( sorry this photos rubbish it but was
    taken last week)

6. The colour of the leaves.
I love it when the leaves turn oranges and Browns as they look really pretty. They also create a really nice atmosphere (or is it just me that thinks that!) They look so much nicer than green leaves as nearly every leave is a different colour!

7. Christmas songs!
You can't talk about winter without mentioning Christmas songs! Just listening to them puts me in a really good mood cause I know it's gonna be Christmas soon and who doesn't love Christmas!? What's your favorite Christmas song? Mines Rudolph the red nose reindeer I loved that some since I was about 5 (which is only 9 years ago but that's still a long time!) Another great thing about Christmas songs is everyone seems to know the words to all of the songs so everybody is singing them!
( found this on google images)

8.  Bonfire night.
I actually nearly missed this out and I don't know how because I love going to watch firework displays with friends. There is always such a great atmosphere even if it is absolutely freezing and you cant feel your feet anymore after the fireworks have finished! Let me know in the comments what you guys do for bonfire night!

( this is from a display I went to see last year)

9. Pyjamas.
Winter is like the hibernation time of the year as its finally acceptable to put your pyjamas on as soon as you get back from school or work, although I think I do this all year round anyway. My favorite place to get my pyjamas from in the winter is probably primark as their pyjamas are the softest ever! Where do you guys like to get your winter pyjamas from?

10. Carving pumpkins!
I used to do this every Halloween when I was younger  and I still do it now! My favorite part is scooping the pumpkin seeds out of the pumpkin and getting really messy! ( I know some people hate this part but I personally love it!) I also love the whole Halloween atmosphere ( I feel like I've said that a lot throughout this post) What do you guys think of Halloween?

( my pumpkin last year haha)

Writing this post has made me even more excited for Winter! Let me know in the comments your favorite thing about Autumn/ Winter!

My top favourite autumn/winter nail polishes!

Hi guys! Since it is now autumn and winter is fast approaching I decided to share to share my top 6( I couldn't decide on five!) go to nail polishes for the colder seasons.

I tend to go for more shimmery and warmer colours in the autumn/winter.

Ciaté paint pot- Sugar plum.
This is not the most Wintery colour but I love the name as it it reminds me of Christmas because of the sugar plum fairy! It's such a lovely color for all year round but I've been especially loving it lately. As you can see it's just a very light lilac purple.

Next I have the Barry M nail polish from the Aquarium collection in Arabian.
I love this as it is such a nice colour,it has a holographic effect meaning from different angles it can look different colours. It shimmers gold and blue. It is also very long lasting. This would be perfect to wear for a Christmas/New year party(I know that's quite a while away, haha!).

I now have a technic nail polish in a bronzey gold colour. I love the technic nail polishes as they are very long lasting and only need one coat.I especially love this colour for the colder seasons as It reminds me of Christmas. I think this is the perfect colour to wear to a Christmas party.

I now have this beautiful pinky red colour from Claire's gel range in Raspberry.
This is just the perfect colour for Christmas, it is also gel effect meaning it lasts for ages with no chipping.

I now have probably my absolute favourite nail polish of them all -this is a beautiful colour in Moondust from W7.I absolutely love this and it is the most perfect winter colour as it has red sparkles running all the way through meaning it is especially perfect for Christmas!
I love all things sparkly!

Lastly I have another technic polish in a nice dark nude colour.I love this as an everyday autumn colour as it is perfect and natural. It matches basically any outfit and it just looks lovely!

Thank you so much for reading, either tweet us (@TeaT42) or comment down below your favourite autumn and winter nail polishes.

September Favourites!

Hey everyone,

I can't believe it's October already which means another favorites post!!

The first thing I've been loving is the soap and glory glad hair day shampoo and conditioner. I think I've probably mentioned this quite a lot but I've been using this every time I wash my hair and the smell of it lasts until I wash my hair next ( I wash my hair every second day) it also makes my hair really soft and just looks really nice.

Another beauty product I've been using a lot is maybelline baby lips. My lips have been quite chapped so I had been just using any lip balm I could find but none were really working I then found this in the bottom of my draw so I tried it and it made my lips feel so moisturised and they were no longer chapped after a few uses! i forgot how much I love this product!

The next thing is tea. It's a bit of a strange thing to mention but it's been quite cold lately so I've been drinking a lot of tea and really enjoying it so I thought I should mention it!

While I'm on the food and drink note I thought I'd mention the nàked bars. I've been eating these quite a lot lately and really like them I normally get the cocoa orange ones. They are just a vegan bar (i think) and they are really good for you but they also taste really good and are great for when you need to have a quick snack but want something healthier.

My last favorite is the singer Halsey. Chloe was actually talking about her so I thought I would listen to her and I love her songs they are just so good! You should definitely go listen to her cause I'm now addicted! My favorite song by her is New Americana.

Let me know in the comments what you've been loving this month!

The perfect pamper evening!

When it's the colder seasons of the year I tend to to have a lot more pamper evenings, I think it's because it's so nice to be snuggled up watching a movie ,with a hot drink when it's cold outside.
I thought I would share with you my tips and essentias to having the perfect pamper evening!

The first thing I always do is take my make up off. I love taking my make up off after having it on all day. I use the Garnier Micellar water. I apply this to a cotton pad then I just wipe it over my face and eyes to remove any makeup.
I also used simple toner, massaging it into my face with a cotton pad aswell .

I find there is no better way to relax than running a hot bath,I always put either a lush product in or pour in some bubble bath.My favourite lush product at the moment is definitely the Yuzu and cocoa bubbleroon- it smells amazing!
I then love to apply a face mask to cleanse my face. I've been loving my       Mud mask.It leaves my skin very sofft and nourished.
The body wash I've been using at the moment is the Baylis and Harding jojoba, silk and almond oil luxurious shower crème.During the week I often don't bother moisturising my body as it can be a boring thing to do so I make sure I moisturise my body while having a pamper evening. I use the soap and glory moisturiser- this product makes it a lot more of a bearable task as it leaves an amazing smell that lasts all day.

Once I'm out the bath I will put I on a pair of my favourite fluffy pyjamas light a Wintery candle and watch a film or YouTube. I just recently watched "The Duff" and I loved it, I defiantly recommend it.i will also make myself a hot drink, usually a hot chocolate or a cup of tea. Once I've relaxed for a while I will then turn off the tv or my iPad and go to sleep.
I hope you enjoyed reading about how I relax during a pamper evening~ Chloe

Lee Stafford~ For hair that never grows past a certain length!

Hey everyone,

So last week I picked up the lee Stafford hair treatment for hair that never goes past a certain length.
I am so excited to see if this actually works because my hair stopped growing as soon as it got to about shoulder length!

My first impressions of this were that it smelt absolutely amazing (if you have ever smelt the Angel perfume by Thierry Mugler it kinda smells a bit like that) however I do think it's quite pricey as it was £8.49, but if it actually works  then I won't mind paying that .
The treatment is just a light pink coloured cream. It is quite a thin consistency which I find makes it easier to apply.

To apply this I just follow the instructions on the pot and put it on in between shampoo and conditioner and leave it in for five minutes. It says on the pot to use a scoop the size of an egg however, I don't need this much but my hair is quite thin so if you have thicker hair you may need to use that much.

I've only used this a couple of times since I bought it but I've noticed that it makes your hair so soft and it looks in great conditions as well.
I've not been using it long enough yet to see if it has made my hair grow but I will probably do an updated review on it after about a month.

Overall I don't know if I would recommend it for the hair growth as I have only used it a couple of times so I haven't had a chance to see if it works however I have noticed my hair feels like it is in such good condition not to mention it also smells amazing so for that I would definitely recommend it!

Let me know in the comments if you guys have ever tried this and what you thought of it.

Making Bounty bars!

I love baking so I decided to do another baking post, last weekend I actually decided to make bounty bars -If you don't know what they are they are basically coconut covered in chocolate. These were so easy and tasted amazing and they were just like the original ones. The best thing about these is that you only need 3 ingredients!

Ingredients-
1 tin condensed milk-379g
200g descinated coconut
300-400g chocolate- I needed 400g but I think I used a bit too much so it will depend on how much you cover each one.

Pour the coconut and condensed milk into a bowl and mix together with a wooden spoon, then taking handfuls of the mixture mold it into bar shapes (or you could even make balls). I found it a lot easier if myhands were a bit damp as the mixture did not stick to my hands as much. Place all of your "bars" onto a baking try lined with baking parchment and place them in the freezer until they are less sticky and hold their shape- do not completely freeze them.

Break your chocolate up into pieces and melt either over a pan of boiling water or in the microwave- I chose the microwave as I find it a lot quicker and easier. I put it in the microwave(on medium heat) for 1 minute then took it out and stirred it then put it in for another minute. I then left it to cool down- not harden.

Once they are cool cover your coconut bars in chocolate and leave to set.
(Sorry for the terrible photo!:/)

Once set enjoy!

These tasted amazing so I definitely recommend trying them out.

A day in the life~ Cupcake fail!

Hey everyone
So today it is Sunday and I thought I would just blog my day and show you guys what I get up to in a regular Sunday ( which will proberly be not a lot!)

So today I woke up at about half 8 and watched YouTube.

I finally managed to roll out my bed and get some breakfast at about 10, (I just had a bowl of frosties In-case you wanted to know!)
At about 10.30 I decided I should probably shower and get dressed! I used the soap and glory shampoo and conditioner cause this honestly makes your hair smell so good!

I also used the I love raspberry and blackberry shower smoothie which also smells amazing.

At around 1pm I  quickly made a sandwich cause I needed to go out at half 1 for a piano lesson.

(Totally off topic but I also managed to kinda French plait my fringe and I'm actually so proud of it (I tried to take a picture but it didn't really work so ill try again and put it on Instagram I'll put our @ at the end as well!)
I couldn't really be bothered to wear make up so I just put a little bit of the Rimmel wake me up concealer under my eyes to make me look awake!

When I got back from my piano lesson, I decided to bake Zoellas Funfetti cupcakes but then went on to realize,  just as I went to put the sprinkles in the cake mix, that we don't actually have any sprinkles (oops) so had to make them without them (haha)! At 15:36 (exactly!) my cakes were in the oven so I just made a cup of tea and watched some more YouTube and checked our Twitter (I'll put our @ name at the end.) Also let me know if you guys want to see more baking posts cause I really enjoy making them, so yeah let me know in the comments if you want to see more of them and I'll hopefully make some more and remember all the ingredients!

After I had my tea I iced my cakes and even though I followed Zoe's video exactly my icing was still runny and curdled!! Can anyone help me with that I just can't seem to make butter icing and I don't know what I'm doing wrong!! So in the end I covered my icing with grated chocolate cause chocolate is the answer to all problems!! ( Maybe baking posts wouldn't be such a good idea after this disaster!!)

Anyway I didn't really do anything for the rest of the night I just played a bit of guitar and got ready for school.

Hope you enjoyed this post as its a bit different to what I normally post let me know in the comments if you want to see more posts like this cause I really enjoyed writing it!!

Bye~ Megan
