10 reasons why I love Autumn/Winter

Hey everyone,

I am actually so excited for Autumn and winter because that is my favorite time of the year. So go and make yourself a cup of tea,  because I have quite a long post on 10 reasons why I love autumn and winter so much!

1. The weather.
I hope it snows this year because we haven't had proper snow here for about 2 years (we have had snow, just not a lot), and I can't wait to have a snowball fight and build a snowman because your never too old to build a good snowman! I also love it when it's cold and rainy outside and you are snuggled up with a cup of tea and loads of blankets inside!

( These photos were taken last winter)

2. Big Woolly Jumpers
There is nothing better than putting on big Woolly jumpers to keep warm. I also really like how they look with a pair of leggings or skinny jeans. Also lets not forget about the Christmas jumper you can get singing ones and light up ones, but I just had a standard one last year.

3. Christmas
I love EVERYTHING about Christmas like the weather (especially the snow) giving and receiving gifts, vlogmas and of course the food (nothing beats a Christmas dinner!) what's your favorite thing about Christmas? Mine is probably buying Christmas presents (although I am terrible at it, but I aim to be better this year hopefully!) I really enjoy seeing peoples reactions as they open your gifts, especially when they like them!

( This was taken last Christmas at a shopping center) ( this was my Christmas tree last year)

4. Hot drinks.
My favorite hot drink is tea or hot chocolate ( I think they're actually the only hot drinks I like!) What's yours ? I love the galaxy hot chocolate with bits of chocolate in and the one with magic stars in, if you don't know what I'm on about look for it in your local supermarket because they are the best hot chocolates ever ( apart from Starbucks hot chocolate obviously!)

5. Jumping on leaves
That might sound a little strange but if you've ever jumped on a pile of leaves in Autumn and heard the crunching noise they make you will know what I mean! I used to do this all the time when I was little, and I would walk on very single leave there was so I could hear it crunch! I have to admit that I still do it now!

( sorry this photos rubbish it but was
    taken last week)

6. The colour of the leaves.
I love it when the leaves turn oranges and Browns as they look really pretty. They also create a really nice atmosphere (or is it just me that thinks that!) They look so much nicer than green leaves as nearly every leave is a different colour!

7. Christmas songs!
You can't talk about winter without mentioning Christmas songs! Just listening to them puts me in a really good mood cause I know it's gonna be Christmas soon and who doesn't love Christmas!? What's your favorite Christmas song? Mines Rudolph the red nose reindeer I loved that some since I was about 5 (which is only 9 years ago but that's still a long time!) Another great thing about Christmas songs is everyone seems to know the words to all of the songs so everybody is singing them!

8.  Bonfire night.
I actually nearly missed this out and I don't know how because I love going to watch firework displays with friends. There is always such a great atmosphere even if it is absolutely freezing and you cant feel your feet anymore after the fireworks have finished! Let me know in the comments what you guys do for bonfire night!

( this is from a display I went to see last year)

9. Pyjamas.
Winter is like the hibernation time of the year as its finally acceptable to put your pyjamas on as soon as you get back from school or work, although I think I do this all year round anyway. My favorite place to get my pyjamas from in the winter is probably primark as their pyjamas are the softest ever! Where do you guys like to get your winter pyjamas from?

10. Carving pumpkins!
I used to do this every Halloween when I was younger  and I still do it now! My favorite part is scooping the pumpkin seeds out of the pumpkin and getting really messy! ( I know some people hate this part but I personally love it!) I also love the whole Halloween atmosphere ( I feel like I've said that a lot throughout this post) What do you guys think of Halloween?

( my pumpkin last year haha)

Writing this post has made me even more excited for Winter! Let me know in the comments your favorite thing about Autumn/ Winter!

Bye~ Megan
