Updated whats in my school bag!

So it's 15 days into January and I haven't started or even attempted any of my New Years resolutions!

Anyway I got a new school bag for Christmas so thought it was time for an updated what's in my school bag!

I'm not sure where this bag is from as my parents got it offline. It has one main pocket and then a smaller one at the front.

In the front pocket I keep my purse which is from primark, a lip balm, and my locker key.

In the big pocket I obviously have all my school books and my planner which is a life saver cause if I didn't have that I would never remember my homework or where I am meant to be so if you don't get given one at school I would highly recommend getting one!

I then have a bottle of water because it's is really important to stay hydrated especially at stressful times like exams ( which I am dreading!) I then have a hairbrush so I can try and look half decent! I also have a hair bobble and perfume.

Updated skincare routine-2016!

Hi! I hope your new year is going great so far, mine has been okay but I have exams pretty soon so that's not so great!:/

Today I thought I would do an updated skin care routine as if you read my "What I got for Christmas 2015" post you would have seen I recieved quite a few new skincare bits. I love when I develop a proper skincare routine as i really see the improvements in my skin. I have been using these products for a few weeks now and I have really noticed a big difference in my skin. 

I use two products in the shower, one in the morning and one in the evening. 

In the morning to wash my face I use the "Simple Spotless skin triple action face wash" I have used this for months now and went through multiple tubes( not really sure if it's a tube?!) and I love it!

In the evening I use the "Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish" to remove my make up . Since using this I have noticed a big difference in my skin, It is less dry and I have less breakouts. I definitely recommend it.

I have three other products that I use to remove my make up if I'm being lazy and not using my Cleanse and polish. They include my "Garnier Micellar cleansing water" which removes make up so easily even waterproof mascara , the "Simple eye make-up remover pads" and the "Simple cleansing facial wipes" which are also both great.

Now into the main face products I use daily, I will list them in the order I use them -

•"Simple purifying cleansing lotion"

•"Simple soothing facial toner"

• "Simple hydrating light moisturiser"

If my skin is feeling especially dry and is just generally having a bad day I will use the "Simple radiance brightening moisturiser" this is currently my all time favourite product from simple, it is such a thick moisturiser but it sinks in so quickly and has really made a difference to my usually dry skin.

2015 Overall

 Last year was a great year for me it obviously had its ups and downs but nothing too bad. 

The first good thing that happened in 2015 was this blog! I have always wanted to start a blog and last year we did. If you've read the blog from the start you'll know we came up with idea in our graph com class. I have such fun writing these posts and find it quite a relaxing thing to do. If you are thinking about starting a blog I would say go for it cause I'm glad I did! Ok it's starting to get a bit cheesy now so I'll move on!

In January my grandma got me my first proper camera for my birthday and since then I've captured many moments of 2015. 

There wasn't much else happened in my year so I thought I would talk about some youtubers instead as their 2015 was probably a lot more exciting than mine!

Gabriella Lindley 

She has achieved so much this year including releasing her own primark 

Range, uploading her first cover to YouTube which was amazing! 

Zoella

Where to start she has written 2 novels ( girl online and girl online on tour) released her own line of beauty products along with many other amazing things!!

Joe Sugg

Wrote a novel titled Username Evie, he also starred in his own movie called Hit the road along with his roommate, best friend and youtuber Caspar Lee.

Tanya Burr

 Released a book titled Love Tanya. She also released her own line of beauty products including nail polish, lip glosses, eye shadow pallet, cheek pallet and a brow pallet. Tanya also got married to her husband Jim Chapman!

Bye 2015, Hello 2016!

So we are now into 2016! Who can believe that- definitely not me! Last year went crazy fast. It was early last year in the month of March that we started this blog and I'm very surprised in how many people read out posts. We may not have hundreds of followers but that really doesn't matter to us, we really just enjoy writing and uploading our posts each week. I do however hope to try even harder and progress further with the blog this year. Sometimes I don't try my hardest with  posts because of leaving writing it to the night before but this year I  am going to make sure I have posts written in advance.

I hope to continue with this blog and keep progressing for the years to come and I hope you will carry on reading our posts. It would also mean a whole lot if you would follow us  on bloglovin and Google + so you can be notified when we upload.

I am now going to tell you a few things  I hope to achieve throughout the New year.

1. Be healthier 

 Of course I have to say this one- who doesn't start the new year of by  saying they are going to exercise more and eat healthy!

2. Revise

This year is quite an important year in terms of school so I'm going to make sure im always prepared to face any exams/ tests- definitely easier said than done when you could just watch YouTube instead!

3. Improve blog posts

I do try my best to think of great ideas but this year I am going to try and think of a lot more original posts.

4. Read more

I used to really enjoy reading but I've found myself not reading as much. I'm going to try and get back into it. I actually recieved Zoe's second novel for Christmas a long with Marcus's books so that's a good start!

5. Try a new hobby

I hope by the end of this year i have a new hobby that I enjoy just as much as I enjoy going horse riding and writing my blog posts!

My New Years resolutions!

Hey everyone 

Happy new year!! 

I can't believe it's 2016 already! Seeing as today is the first day of 2016 I thought it was only right that today I did my New Years resolutions as that is something that everyone makes around this time of year.

1- excercise 

This one has to be on a lot of people's new year resolutions and I  put this on mine every year but this year I actually want to do it as every year it lasts a week at the most!

2- do more baking posts 

I love baking and I bake most Sunday's and I really want to do more posts on it.

3-revise more 

I have exams this year and I never revise enough and I don't want to have to resist so I need to do more revision!

4- finish teen wolf

I started teen wolf in October I think and I've still not finished it and I really want to!

 

5- get a job 

Not really much to say but I want to get one by the end of 2016

What I got for Christmas 2015!

So Christmas is over! To be honest I don't even feel like Christmas has happened, it went way to quickly. I had such an amazing day though, I spent it with my family (of course including our dogs) eating lots of food and just generally having a great time.

I recieved so many great gifts  which I am so thankful for and I was very lucky to receive all that I did, I am not trying to boast in any way I just wanted to do this post as I love reading what others recieved.

Firstly I'm going to share a picture of the things I got in my stocking.I'm not going to name everything but I recieved a few Zoella things, stationary and some lip balms etc.

The main present I recieved this year was actually a laptop. This is the HP Pavilion 17-g108na Laptop.

I also recieved my first charm for my pandora which I was very excited about, the charm I got the Equestrian charm.

I was given five pieces from the skin range simple. 

• Purifying lotion

•Soothing facial toner

•Hydratkng light moisturiser

•Rafiance brightening moisturiser 

•Cleansing facial wipes

I recieved two Gift sets~

The Soap and Glory limited addition set in "The Rodnik Band". This comes with 6 soap and glory products~

Christmas Day GRWM!!!

Hey everyone, 

As you are reading this it will be Christmas day which is so exciting!!! 

As you've probably guessed by the title I am going to do a Christmas Day GRWM seeing as it's Christmas Day today!!! 

First I use the body shop tea tree oil toner and apply it with a cotton pad and then moisturise my face.

For my make up I did my kind of go to Christmas party look which is actually not much different to any of my other make up looks!

For foundation I used the Rimmel match perfection foundation. This is a little bit too dark so I don't apply too much but I also sometimes mix it with a bit of moisturiser to lighten it however that makes it have slightly less coverage.

I blend this in with my real techniques complex sponge which I picked up on Monday and I am loving it!

I then put the Rimmel wake me up concealer under my eyes and the collection lasting perfection concealer on any spots and blemishes.

I then put on my Rimmel stay matte powder to set my concealer ( I also really need a new one cause i'm running out)

For my eyes I applied the colour tattoo in shade pink gold all over my lid. This is really simple but also really effective!

I then used the soap and glory super cat eyeliner which is so good as I am terrible at applying eye liner but this actually makes it quite easy, I highly recommend it.

For mascara I of course used the body shop lengthen and define mascara (as always!)

I then contoured and highlighted using the collection blush and glow pallet. The highlighter in this is so pretty and I really recommend it if you are on a budget or even if your not its still Great!

I just stay in at Christmas so I went for a more casual look.

I wore my black jeans from next,

my grey ripped crop top from primark and my Chelsea boots which are also from primark.
