Here's some revision/study tips:
• Make flash cards
This really helps, just write down definitions or key points on the cards and it means you are only having to remember small phrases. Learning long phrases can be hard and I always get muddled so this really helps me.
•Use past papers
This is a great thing to do as you can do the papers and find out what you need to work on ,also sometimes some of the questions are very similar to what will be in the exam. You can usually buy these at any stationary shops or your teacher may give you some.
•Do mind maps/ spider diagrams
This is such a big help, especially if you do them with coloured pens. It means you can write down all the key information without it just being one giant list which I find very useful as u don't get bored as easily.
Make sure you stay hydrated and eat during revising!
This is very important as many people don't bother drinking it eating- this can effect your revising. If you are hungry or dehydrated your brain won't function as well as it. So make sure to have a drink beside you and a snack!
Give yourself breaks
If you revise for ages without stopping it is more likely you will get distracted and stop taking all the the information in. I also find if I don't have breaks I just start to confuse myself and forget everything. In these breaks do something that you enjoy but make sure you go back to revising once you've had a short break.
Revise with friends
Why not have a get together with your friends and make revising just that little bit more bearable. This will make revising a lot more fun and it will help you learn. You and your friends can quiz each other and share revision tips. It also means that you are not spending all the time leading up to exams alone.
I hole that these tips helped! I'm always looking for ways to help me with revision so please comment any of your ideas below! Good luck with any exams you have coming up!
