My every day make-up routine(for school)

I personally choose not to wear much make-up to school, mainly due to the fact I don't have much time and I'm not getting up any earlier than I already have to!

After I've used my moisturiser I put the Rimmel wake me up concealer under my eyes- I find this really brightenings under  my eyes and covers up any dark circles, it also makes me look a lot more awake( which i definitely need before school!).A quick tip I find very useful is to take this concealer right into your tear duct- this makes you look even more awake and makes your eyes look bigger. It's definitely more of a brightening concealer as it has a little shimmer in it,meaning it's not very good at covering blemishes as it could make them even more noticeable . I blend this in with the Real techniques setting brush. I find this brush is a great size for under your eyes.

The next thing I do is take the Collection lasting perfection concealer and put it on any blemishes and redness. This concealer has a very thick consistency meaning it has quite high coverage- this can also lead to it becoming cakey if you apply to much. I wouldn't use this under my eyes but it's great at covering any blemishes. On the whole it is a very good concealer and I understand why so many people use and love it (it's also very inexpensive, which is always a bonus!) I blend this in with the real techniques buffing brush which I find does a great job!

To set my concealer and make my face matte and not shiny I use the Rimmel stay matte powder- I find This helps keep my make-up in place, but since I have quite dry skin I only use a little bit and tend not to use it at all over the colder seasons(as this is when my skin is most dry). I apply This using the Real techniques multi- task brush .
To make me look even more awake I use a mascara- the one I'm using at the miniute is the maybelline lash sensational. I find this really lengthens and separates your lashes.
To finish this look off I apply either a lip balm or Tanya Burr's lip gloss in the colour "picnic in the park" which is a lovely pink shade.

I find this is a really nice subtle look for school and it doesn't take long at all so it's perfect.
