My New Years resolutions!

Hey everyone 

Happy new year!! 

I can't believe it's 2016 already! Seeing as today is the first day of 2016 I thought it was only right that today I did my New Years resolutions as that is something that everyone makes around this time of year.

1- excercise 

This one has to be on a lot of people's new year resolutions and I  put this on mine every year but this year I actually want to do it as every year it lasts a week at the most!

2- do more baking posts 

I love baking and I bake most Sunday's and I really want to do more posts on it.

3-revise more 

I have exams this year and I never revise enough and I don't want to have to resist so I need to do more revision!

4- finish teen wolf

I started teen wolf in October I think and I've still not finished it and I really want to!

 

5- get a job 

Not really much to say but I want to get one by the end of 2016

What I got for Christmas 2015!

So Christmas is over! To be honest I don't even feel like Christmas has happened, it went way to quickly. I had such an amazing day though, I spent it with my family (of course including our dogs) eating lots of food and just generally having a great time.

I recieved so many great gifts  which I am so thankful for and I was very lucky to receive all that I did, I am not trying to boast in any way I just wanted to do this post as I love reading what others recieved.

Firstly I'm going to share a picture of the things I got in my stocking.I'm not going to name everything but I recieved a few Zoella things, stationary and some lip balms etc.

The main present I recieved this year was actually a laptop. This is the HP Pavilion 17-g108na Laptop.

I also recieved my first charm for my pandora which I was very excited about, the charm I got the Equestrian charm.

I was given five pieces from the skin range simple. 

• Purifying lotion

•Soothing facial toner

•Hydratkng light moisturiser

•Rafiance brightening moisturiser 

•Cleansing facial wipes

I recieved two Gift sets~

The Soap and Glory limited addition set in "The Rodnik Band". This comes with 6 soap and glory products~

•The Righteous Butter 

And the Ted baker Gift set that comes with a~

I also recieved Zoe's second book~"Girl Online in tour" which I'm very excited to read as I lived the original book!

Christmas Day GRWM!!!

Hey everyone, 

As you are reading this it will be Christmas day which is so exciting!!! 

As you've probably guessed by the title I am going to do a Christmas Day GRWM seeing as it's Christmas Day today!!! 

First I use the body shop tea tree oil toner and apply it with a cotton pad and then moisturise my face.

For my make up I did my kind of go to Christmas party look which is actually not much different to any of my other make up looks!

For foundation I used the Rimmel match perfection foundation. This is a little bit too dark so I don't apply too much but I also sometimes mix it with a bit of moisturiser to lighten it however that makes it have slightly less coverage.

I blend this in with my real techniques complex sponge which I picked up on Monday and I am loving it!

I then put the Rimmel wake me up concealer under my eyes and the collection lasting perfection concealer on any spots and blemishes.

I then put on my Rimmel stay matte powder to set my concealer ( I also really need a new one cause i'm running out)

For my eyes I applied the colour tattoo in shade pink gold all over my lid. This is really simple but also really effective!

I then used the soap and glory super cat eyeliner which is so good as I am terrible at applying eye liner but this actually makes it quite easy, I highly recommend it.

For mascara I of course used the body shop lengthen and define mascara (as always!)

I then contoured and highlighted using the collection blush and glow pallet. The highlighter in this is so pretty and I really recommend it if you are on a budget or even if your not its still Great!

I just stay in at Christmas so I went for a more casual look.

I wore my black jeans from next,

my grey ripped crop top from primark and my Chelsea boots which are also from primark.

A winters day!

Today I thought I would write a post on what I've been doing on a typical winters day. 

Of course since it's been the holidays I've been waking up a lot later that usual. I will then go downstairs to make some breakfast,it really depends what I decide to have that day. This particular day I just decided to have a cup of tea and some toast( I know ,boring!). My tea was in Gabbys lovely heart shaped mug though!

 

Once I ate I decided to get dressed- my outfit of choice was a knitted jumper from primark, my black Joni jeans from topshop, my coat from H&M( which I love!) and my brown boots from primark.  I actually decided not to put any makeup on, however if I was to I have done a post on my everyday make up a few posts back. 

I then decided to do some Christmassy baking- I picked Zoe's gingerbread cupcakes to bake.

 

I then went to nearby town to do some last minute Christmas shopping.... however, I didn't actually buy any present I just bought some new boots for myself! Haha! The boots I purchase were from New Look. 

We also decided to go into costa  and I got my favourite winter drink - the white hot chocolate. If you haven't tried this already you need to!

When I got back from shopping I decided to go for a bath and used my lush Magic wand. This smells just like snow fairy which is definety my favourite lush scent.

For the rest of the evening I just relaxed and watched some YouTube.

5 Christmas films you HAVE to watch!

Hey everyone 

As you are reading this it will be Christmas a week today today!! I am so excited and feeling very festive so of course my post HAS to be Christmas themed.  I decided to do my top Christmas films because everyone loves Christmas films so I thought I'd share with you my favourites! 

1. The polar express

This is one of my all time  favourites as there has my been one Christmas where I have not watched it!

2. Nativity 

I have seen all of these and they are so funny! 

3. elf 

How can I talk about Christmas films and not mention elf ? This film always puts me in the Christmas mood.

4. Home alone 

I will watch these any time of the year even though they are Christmas films. These are great films to watch with your family or friends!

5. Santa paws 

This is definitely one for animal lovers!

Haul- Birthday and other bits!

If you read last weeks post you would know that last  Wednesday it was my birthday ,so I thought I would share some of my  presents with you.  I also went shopping recently with my friends so I included some of the bits I picked up then as well.

One of the most exciting things I  recieved was a pandora bracelet, this is just the original silver charm bracelet. I was so excited to receive this as I feel it is a very sentimental gift as it is something I can always keep and add charms to.

When I was shopping of course I went into lush! I picked up the Yog nog bath bomb- which smells line toffee, the comforter- which smell like Ribena and the Magic wand bubble bar which has the classic snow fairy scent.

 I then recieved the Golden wonder and stardust bath bombs as a gift set from Megan.

I also received some Soap and Glory bits and pieces- I got a shower gel, a shower butter and a body scrub as well as receiving the hand cream set that comes with three hand creams-one in the original scent one in smoothie star and finally one in the scent sugar crush/ which is my favourite!

We went into primark when we were shopping and of course I couldn't come out empty handed!  I decided to pick up a few things to decorate my Christmas tree in my room with, I got some fairy lights( £2.50) and baubles(£2.50).

In primark I also picked this little black bag up , this was on sale for only £5! I'm so pleased with this purchase and it's definitely a new favourite and staple item of mine.

For my birthday I also received this Jack Wills make up bag, this is a great size and it will definitely be coming with me whenever I'm travelling.

Lastly one of my favourite things I recieved was the Liz Earle Cleanse and polish, I recieved this as a gift and i love it so far. It removes  my make up so easily an leaves my face feeling clean and revitalised. I definitely recommend picking this up, it is also the perfect gift! 

I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the different bits and pieces I have acquired recently. It's now getting so close to Christmas- around 10 days when you are reading this- and I am so excited.
